When ordering thread gages,
please specify:

1. Nominal Size, threads per inch and thread series. Example: for thread plug 3/8-16 UNC-2B for thread ring 3/8-16 UNC-2A
2. Tolerance Class, (X or W).
3. Type of Gage:
   thread plug, ring or set plug.
4. Right or Left hand thread.*
5. For plug gages under 1.510 specify reversible or taperlock.
6. Specify steel or hardchrome.
7. Marking instructions–Tool No., Gage No., etc.

*All thread gages shown in this catalog are right hand. Left hand gages are special and will be quoted upon request.
